Elite XC joins forces with CBS

cbs.jpg

Elite XC has ironed out a deal to show their events on CBS. The Elite XC brand has picked up some major steam in that the Kimbo-Tank fight generated much buzz and hype surrounding their product. Many eyes were drawn to their event and with this CBS deal, it should generate a lot more exposure in North America. One hurdle they need to overcome, and can with their new television deal, is differentiate their brand from the UFC. Although many people watched their event or saw clips of them, numerous still associate the fights with the UFC. It will take a bit of an educating process for new fans to realize the distinct entity that is Elite XC, but they are well on their way a bright future by generating a partnership with CBS. It's good to see some healthy competition to the UFC, which will make both leagues put out a better product and thereby be more entertaining to fans.
