Franklin vs Henderson could be a slugfest

It's no secret both Dan Henderson and Rich Franklin like to stand and strike. In face they both were willing to exchange heartily with Anderson Silva, which speaks volumes for their confidence and ability to throw down with the best. Not too many fighters would be thrilled to go toe to toe with the Muay Thai technician that is Silva.

Franklin loves to be exciting for the fans and Henderson never backs down from a slugfest. There is a good chance their bout this weekend at UFC 93 could be a stand up affair, which would make for a very interesting battle. Henderson has some dynamite in his rights and lefts and scored some classic KOs in Pride FC, including a knockout over Wanderlei Silva. Franklin always brings a wide array of striking technique to the table and puts the whole Muay Thai game together very well.

Tough one to call, but the luxury Hendo has is being able to go back to his Olympic caliber wrestling if he does get in trouble on the feet. That might make the difference in this evenly matched fight.
