Nog back in fantastic form

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira is back. The former Pride FC and UFC heavyweight champ scored an impressive unanimous decision win over Randy Couture at UFC 102. Couture showed some solid boxing and did a great job getting out of some very bad spots in all 3 rounds. He's a consummate competitor, great fighter and one of the classiest guys in any sport.

Nogueira himself is a class act and it's great to see him back in championship form. He is perhaps a win away from another crack at UFC gold. Perhaps if he picks up a big win in early 2010, he'll be in a position to contend against the winner of Shane Carwin and Brock Lesnar.
