Time for talk over for BJ Penn

UFC_84_-_Ill_Will.JPG

While he's dished out an immense amount of smack talk leading up to his bout with Sean Sherk, UFC lightweight champ BJ Penn has ceased the verbal assault to make way for a highly intense planned physical attack this Saturday night. "I talked about steroids enough and today all the talking about steroids is done", comments Penn. "Everyone knows how I feel about that stuff, him getting stripped of the title and all this, but now that we're here two days before the fight the only thing I'm going to bring up is that I'm ready to fight and I am the champion, and I'm just going to come in Saturday night and do my best and let everything go."

Some big talk amongst MMA pundits has been about how Penn's cardio will be coming into this bout. Should the fight go into rounds 3, 4 and 5, all eyes will be on Penn's gas tank. But Penn doesn't have much to say in terms of derogatory comments towards Sherk now, his tunnel vision is starting to completely focus on the task at hand.
"It's too close to the fight for talk already and now it's just time to fight."
