Rich Franklin vs Wanderlei Silva should be a great slugfest. You never have to ask Wanderlei Silva to turn it up a notch when it comes to aggression in the striking realm, and Rich Franklin is fearless to fight anyone on the feet. He stood up with Anderson Silva and although paid for it, he was extremely courageous in going head to head in Muay Thai combat with one of the most feared strikers in MMA.

Neither is likely to ground and pound the other opponent or submit them, but it will come down to striking. Silva's track record to put people to sleep is legendary and although Franklin has a great shot to come on top in this bout which is contested at 195 lbs, Silva has to be given the edge based on his long list of striking achievements.
